Opdyke named Philippines Country Coordinator for Sydney Southeast Asia Centre (SSEAC)

Dr Aaron Opdyke was recently named as the the Philippines Country Coordinator for SSEAC, where he will contribute to connecting researchers working on a broad range of issues in the Philippines. The Sydney Southeast Asia Centre builds on the expertise of and facilitates collaborations between over 500 University of Sydney academics who specialise in Southeast Asia. The Country Coordinators serve as focal points for activities related to each country in the region, as part of a committee chaired by the Director. They advise on strategic developments in different countries and bring together researchers across the University of Sydney who work in the eleven countries of the region.
